Please say hello to Kathy Gergen-Mandel. For nearly 25 years, Kathy has dedicated her career to standing up for the small business owner. She finds great joy in helping today’s smart, brave entrepreneurs as they navigate their legal needs.
Kathy’s areas of practice include real estate and business law, including employment contracts, office-sharing agreements, office leases, securing financing for acquisitions and expansion, mergers, purchasing or selling the assets or stock of a business, exit strategy development and implementation. Business owners often look to her to act as an attorney as well as a professional guide as they work through complex business and legal matters.
In addition to working with Schroeder & Mandel clients, Kathy advises Doctors of Chiropractic and other health practitioners on a myriad of legal and business matters. She co-owns Practice Brokers, Inc., a real estate brokerage firm specializing in helping chiropractors with real estate and business matters—up to and including developing and executing exit strategies, and the listing and sale of their business and related real estate.
Kathy is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and holds a business degree from the University of Minnesota. She’s a frequent lecturer in the business foundation coursework offered at Northwestern Health Sciences University for chiropractic, massage therapy and oriental medicine students. In addition, Kathy frequently speaks at various functions for Northwestern Health Sciences University, the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and the annual Nutrition Dynamics-Great Lakes Conference.
