For nearly 25 years, Kathy M. Gergen-Mandel has assisted small business owners with their legal needs. Her areas of practice include real estate and business law including employment contracts, office-sharing agreements, office leases, securing financing for acquisitions and expansion, mergers, purchasing or selling the assets or stock of a business, exit strategy development and implementation. Ms. Gergen-Mandel often finds that business owners look to her to act as attorney and professional guide as they work through complex business and legal matters.
In addition to working with clients of Schroeder & Mandel, P.A., Ms. Gergen-Mandel advises Doctors of Chiropractic and other health practitioners on a multitude of legal and business matters as they own and operate their professional practices. She assists in the development of their exit strategy and guides them through their exit strategy up to and including the listing and sale of their business and related real estate. Many of these services are provided by Ms. Gergen-Mandel through her real estate brokerage firm, Practice Brokers, Inc.
Ms. Gergen-Mandel is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and holds a business degree from the University of Minnesota. She is a frequent lecturer in the business foundation coursework offered at Northwestern Health Sciences University for chiropractic, massage therapy and oriental medicine students. In addition, Ms Gergen-Mandel is a frequent speaker at various functions for Northwestern Health Sciences University, the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and annual Nutrition Dynamics- Great Lakes Conference.
